Welcome to my website! A bit about me- I am a broker/owner with JLA Realty. Buying or selling a home is a major event and my expertise and track record help clients achieve their goals and have a positive outcome. Ongoing communications and personal contact, market updates and staying on top of the sales process provides the best possible experience for buyers and sellers. Making sure that the process is smooth and seamless is the cornerstone of my success. I strive to maintain long-term relationships with clients and help them make wise financial decisions with their real estate purchases. My goal is always to exceed expectations. I am a Top 20 under 40 award recipient in 2014 and have numerous other industry awards including Five Star Agent and International President's Circle. Rebecca grew up surrounded by numerous family members who were Realtors, and in 1991 entered the industry herself. Her enthusiasm for residential real estate and her negotiating skills have served her - and her clients - well, as she has been a consistently strong sales performer.
Rebecca attributes a large part of her success to the pride she takes in putting together sales that represent terrific value for her clients without leaving the buyer financially stretched and "house poor". This commitment to doing the job well demands patience, expertise and genuine concern for the needs of both buyers and sellers. Not surprisingly, 100% of her business is referrals from previous clients.
Being a wife, mother, Gigi, and resident of the community in which she devotes her time professionally, also provides Rebecca with recommendations and insights that invariably prove to be invaluable to families who are new to the thriving communities in and around Lake Houston.
Rebecca also sharpens her repertoire of skills and knowledge through continuing education courses and seminars on real estate topics, which she then uses to good advantage in behalf of her clients.
Married for 40 years to Dwayne May, a retired Engineering Manager for Schlumberger. Resident of Atascocita for 29 years, and Huffman for 11 years!
Rebecca has three grandchildren--a 12-year old princess, Madelyn Grace; a 6-year old bull-in-a-China-cabinet, Maddox James; and the youngest grandson, Tucker Gene, or Tucker the Tornado, 2-years old!!! Rebecca has a soft-spot for rescue dogs, and currently has a very spoiled 11-ish year old rescued Blue Tick Coonhound, Boudreaux! She recently added Rowdy Roux, a Golden Doodle puppy to the family and often wonders what on earth was she thinking!
